Club Meeting 373 - Highlights

Hello TSL Angels, wherever you are,

It will be our first post on our new website and coincidentally it’s starting our new Term and we are so excited as it will be the beginning to put an action to make all our dream come true and this is one, we made it only for you. Yes, we present this to all TSL Angels all around this universe in order to reach out to you more closely.

As it’s our Club Meeting #373 with the theme Sunrise and with the word of the day “Start” it was an amazing meeting to start our next journey in October while enjoying our Breakfast Meeting with our fellow Toastmasters all around this universe. The Sunrise means we will enjoy the Spirit and the warmth of the Sunrise together no matter where we are. Enjoy the Sunrise through the meeting with all the smiles, fun and the excitement to engage and to learn from each other. In TSL we can feel the strong and unique cultures of our meetings with full colors as each person will shine and share their color and complete each other just like those Picasso or Van Gogh luxurious Paintings.

And of course, we have shared the Meeting Role takers and Agenda to all our members and guests to enjoy the meeting before hand and prepare ourselves. As you may checked from all their smile faces and their courage to conquer their fear in taking another step to take their chance and challenge themselves and get out from our comfort zone to go beyond.

We always enjoy ourselves to learn and grow together in TSL and that’s why we loved this club so much. Now as we jump into the Agenda we can see that we have an induction ceremony for members of TSL, and of course this session is such an honor to me to lead as the Club President as our VPM is unable to make it to join us today, and we can still feel the spirit of our VPM as she was away due to her training, therefore all members are engage when they read our promises as a club member and how we encourage and support each other.

From the Agenda we can see after the induction Ceremony the meeting will have 3 Session as usual. Start with table topics, Prepared Speech & Evaluation session and close with hall of fame.

Below is the brief information for all the paid members of The Speaker’s Lounge Toastmasters Club, we have 2 new members for TM Noor Mohammad from Kuwait and Dian Halleyuisari from Indonesia. Both will be adding more colors in TSL and it will be a great beginning to collaborate within our new members and engage more with each other. Be grateful as we have more than 8 members, expecting to have more ^_^.

One thing that I really loved about TSL Club meeting is how we keep maintain the time precisely on time when the Zoom room open (30 mins prior the meeting start) and when we start the meeting, that means how TSL value our precious time, Time is really important, and you surely knew the important of the Time especially if you are a Toastmasters member. Thank you for all the members that keep the spirit high and special thanks to our International Oppa JJ, who act as our Zoom Host and open the Zoom room always on time. And as a sign that the room has Open, we used to share these pics to all of our contacts list on our phone, so members and guest can engage each other by chit chat or sometimes we listen to the Opening Music. From this session we can learn and explore with guests more before the meeting starts.

And sure, as always, our VPE has prepared these certificates for all the paid members and our Oppa is surely a creative person. He was majoring in engineering I supposed, seeing how well he organized to customize the Certificate, Thank you JJ, Oppa

One of the engaging moments is just right on the Group Photo session, in this session we enjoy ourselves being a model in Oppa JJ’s Zoom Frame or Immerse just like as below picture. He is the one who arranging our seat before taking the picture in immerse view. We sometimes put our zoom filters, we even have a time to touch up our makeup first, while I usually nagging to have extra shoot for the pictures and JJ Oppa used to take only 2 shots for the pictures, one with the zoom appearance while another one for the immerse view.

We all laugh and sometimes we call him as our headmasters, pretty much bringing back the school memories with all of us. It was amazing seeing all their bright and delighted smiles on their faces.

None of these smiles are fake. All of them are real for sure.

I hope this writing give you an inspiration as much as I did, enjoy the meeting is one thing but for being able to enjoy and learn something it would be a big thing, start with a simple thing end up with big things, this is might your chance to join us as well and feel the difference
