Introduction to TM Club Meeting

A typical Toastmasters meeting consists of 4 sessions.

  1. The Prepared Speeches Session - Where the club members prepare speeches from the Toastmasters education program and deliver their speeches to the club members.
  2. The Table Topics Session - Where guests and members practice impromptu speaking for 1 to 2 minutes each.
  3. The Evaluation Session - Where the prepared speakers get feedback for their speeches and also the meeting is evaluated by a General evaluator and his team of Timer, Ah-Counter and the Grammarian, who all provide valuable feedback to improve the future meetings.
  4. The Business Session - Where the club leadership conducts the club business which include important announcements, club decisions and ratifications and roles for the next meeting etc.
