Membership FAQs
The joining process is very simple at The Speaker's Lounge. You only need to fill in a short membership form and pay both the joining and membership fees. You will need to be more than 18 years old to be eligible for membership of Toastmasters International.
Toastmasters is a not-for-profit organisation. If you decide to join our club, there is a $60 USD fee for 6 months and if you are not a Toastmaster, there is a $20 USD new member fee. The Speaker's Lounge is a very affordable and incredibly effective way to learn public speaking and to develop confidence.
We as a club do not charge any other cost to our members. $60 USD goes to Toastmasters International as membership fee every 6 months per member.
Yes. This is called "dual membership" even if you belong to more than two clubs. When you join the second club, of course, you don't need to pay the New Member fee because you don't need a second set of starter materials.
