Meeting Minutes

Hello Everyone,

Today we had interactive and engaging meetings. Have you ever considered how cultural shock can expand your worldview? We heard many inspirational stories about it from all our guests and members.

The meeting opened and was led by our president and Toastmaster of the Day, Azizah British. Before starting the main sessions, she explained about Toastmasters, the club update, and the theme of the meeting.

The first session was led by Heru Supriyanto as Table Topic Master (TTM). He asked some interesting cultural questions. All the table-topic speakers shared different types of cultural experiences they have experienced, such as traveling to Bhutan, moving to a foreign company, etc.

There were 5 participants: Raveendran Subramaniam, DTM, Herman Hadi Lukito, Arvin Parreno, Karen Tan, and Bryan Kim. All table topic speakers received constructive feedback from Table Topic Evaluator (TTE) Adam Chen.

In prepared speech sessions, we have two speakers. The first speaker, Raveendran Subramaniam, DTM, shared a story about his family when he encountered difficult circumstances and the decisions he made in that situation. He was evaluated by Dian Halleyuisari.

The second speaker, Jade Cho, shared the story and her passion for music. She gave us many thoughtful questions to remind us to pursue our passion. She was evaluated by Bryan Kim.

We received an insightful report from the general evaluator team. The GE teams today are Bhavneet as a grammarian, Karen as ah-counter, Yosini as a timer, and Herman Hadi Lukito as the general evaluator.

Congratulations to all the winners!
