Meeting Minutes

Good Day Everyone,

Today we have an interactive, fun, unique, and informative meeting. Before we started the main session, Masyi, our warm and friendly Toastmaster of the Day (TOM), invited some of our guests and members to share one thing that they loved and couldn’t live without. It was a beautiful and joyful session.

May Thaw Thar Phyu (Mabel) shared her insightful speech on “3 Tips for Happy Sleep”.

Adam, Table Topic Master (TTM) led and prepared unique sessions for Table Topic. In this session today, there will be two people speaking, but they can only speak one word at a time. While connecting each word to a form of a sentence.

There were 10 table topic speakers:

1. Yusuf Chandra DTM and Arvin Parreno

2. Gilhee Park, DTM and Dian Halleyuisari

3. Bhavneet and Stella Kwon

4. Karen Tan & Azizah British

5. May Thaw Tar Phyu and Shindy Shin  

In prepared speech sessions, we have two speakers. Stella shared a beautiful lesson when she was living with her grandmother and how important it is to spend time with our loved ones. She was evaluated by Amran Bin Aliamat.  

The second speaker, Shindy, shared the story with her mentor. which is her grandmother. How her grandmother as a role model who loved to help others, inspired her to do the same for others. She was evaluated by Yusuf Chandra, DTM.

In the last session, we received an insightful report from the general evaluator team. The GE teams today are Bhavneet as a grammarian, Angelina Putri as ah-counter, Arnie Kusuma as a timer, and Azizah as a general evaluator.

While waiting for the Hall of Fame, we enjoyed Dian's (behind the culture) speech about the "Wonderland of Indonesia." Dian shared various aspects of her country, which started with the island's map, traditional dress, famous places, foods, and country heritage.

We were honored to have one of our newest members and District Director 93, Gilhee Park, DTM  attend today's meeting.
