Meeting Minutes

Hello Everyone,

What does Independence Day mean to you? Perhaps it is freedom of expression, freedom to receive education, or freedom to choose the way you live and the path for your future. This month, all members in our club are celebrating Independence Day. How do you celebrate it? That is the main topic we wanted to discuss at our meeting today.

Shwe Sin as our Toastmasters of Day conducted the meeting energetically. She was surprised to hear that the theme was Independence Day since it is the same day as her birthday.

In our first table topic session, we have 6 participants. They are Yusuf Chandra, DTM, Alfin Abrar, Noor Mohammad DTM, Boram Kang, etc. This session was led by Angel with various and unique questions that helped our guests and members to expand their creative improvised speaking skills.

In prepare speech sessions we have two speakers. Dian gives her second social speech about Independence Day. She told about the different heroes in the past and in the present age. Masyi told her story when she was leading her team and how important it is to know them to bring out the best for the team. Both speaker evaluate by two evaluator Noor Mohammad, DTM and Ana Yudha.

In general evaluations sessions led by our enthusiastic President, Azizah British and her teams Azreen as grammarian, Syifa as ah-counter and Arnie as Timer.

It was good to see that almost all members of the Speakers Lounge attended today's meeting. Congratulations Dian for completing level 3 of her pathway project Presentation Mastery. Also, to Masyi for completing level 4 of her pathway project Motivational Strategies.

Today we have 14 attendees. There are 2 speakers, 2 evaluators, and 6 table topic speakers. Thank you to all role-takers, participants, and guests who attended TSL meeting today.

Happy independence Day to those country who celebrate independence day this month of August.
