The most challenging obstacles to conquer are those that lead to the greatest victories in life. The challenges that demand you to put everything on the line and give it your all. Failure often carries a negative connotation in life, yet most people are unaware that failure actually serves as a stepping stone on the path to achievement. While many of us attempt to avoid failure, “we learn from failure, not from achievement,” Numerous lessons have been learned through failing on a daily basis. Come join us to know about our journeys.

Hello Everyone,
Celebrations are one of the most important and memorable moments in someone’s life. What kind of achievement would you like to celebrate this year? Every country has a different culture. And every culture has its own way of celebrating. In today's meeting, we heard many heartfelt and touching stories about celebrations from our guests and members.
Here are several highlights of our meeting:
A few hours before the meeting, one of our evaluators was unable to attend. Fortunately, with the help of Toastmasters friends and the community, we are able to fill the role before the club starts at 10 AM KST. We received help from Toastmasters of Guyana "Carla". Even though it was almost the middle of the night in her place, she was still willing to help. Thank you for taking on a role, Carla.
We had many guests today who attended the meeting for the first time. And as always, before the meeting begins, we engage and get to know each other.
The Vice President of Education DTM JJ opened the meeting. As Toastmaster of the Meeting, he gave some insights into the theme. If there is one thing he would like to celebrate, it’s his life. He is glad that his heart is still beating, and he is still breathing today. Celebration is not always about the big things, but also about the little things that matter. The story continues with GE and her team. Congratulations to our GE – DTM Julie who is celebrating her milestone this year as Distinguished Toastmaster.
Table Topic Sessions, 8 Table Topic Speakers, and First Timers Guest
This session was led by our secretary, Dian. She encourages everyone to participate in the session, especially those who have not yet taken a role in the meeting. She asks the speakers to choose one of the pictures of their favorite activities to celebrate a special moment in their lives. 8 people participate in the session.
Our first-timer guests Sunny and Carol, told us about some of the activities their family usually does to celebrate special occasions. Carol also told the story about the gift she ever received that she thought was special because it is given by her father. Our regulars guest Arnie and Dwi shared stories about their favorite places to celebrate. Dwi hopes to have more time to celebrate with his family in the future. One of the most touching parts was when one of the speakers told a story of the moment celebration in her family when her mother was in the hospital.
Prepare Speaker & Evaluations
In preparing speech sessions we have Sylvester and Adarsh. Sylvester gave a speech about his HPL project. He told the story about his club EXCO installations. He shares a good message about the importance of using the new opportunity to challenge us to be better. Adarsh delivered a speech from his new pathway engaging humor. He shares some messages from one of the world's champions of public speaking. How important it is to make the speech memorable, for example by adding humor.
We have three evaluators, Siti, DTM Abhijit Roy, and Carla. All evaluators provide constructive and insightful feedback to the speakers.
Today's meeting is attended by a total of 22 people, including 2 speakers, 3 evaluators, and 8 table topic speakers. We are having a lot of fun and had another memorable meeting. We learn a lot of lessons from all participants about how and why they celebrate special occasions and what is important in their lives.
Celebration is not just about luxuries or fancy things. But all moments and achievements that we feel are important are worth celebrating, whether they are big or small.
