Meeting Minutes

Hello Everyone,

December is full of great events and occasions. And each country has its way and culture of organizing events and spending time on them. At our meeting today, we have the opportunity to hear different cultural stories from our members and guests.

Here are several highlights of our meeting:

The room was opened earlier for today's meeting, at 09.00 AM KST. This was 30 minutes earlier than usual. Our first guest TM Arnie arrived at 09.05 AM KST. We spend time engaging with our guests before the meeting starts. We chat and learn how Toastmasters clubs in other countries lately hold their meetings. Be it online, offline, or hybrid. 

The club Vice President Education DTM JJ opened the meeting and gave some insight about the theme "How you would spend your December". He started by showing us a beautiful winter scene from his place where it was snowing. The story continues with the General Evaluator team telling how they would spend the time in December.

Table Topics Sessions with 10 Table Topic Speakers

Today's table topic session is quite special. It is led by our former member TM Nik Maryam. She prepared interesting questions and led the session thoughtfully. All our members and guests are excited to join. 10 table-topic speakers take part in the session. 

We get so many cultural insights from all the speakers who come from different countries. They talk about how they plan to spend the holiday season in China, Philippines, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, etc.

Prepared speaker and panel discussion

In preparing speech sessions we have TM Shwe Sin. She told the story of her life and how we must use and enjoy our Birth Right. TM Adarsh led the panel discussions smoothly with 3-panel speakers. DTM Julie, TM Indah and TM Arnie. Through all the panelists, we learn different perspectives on the topic of "Work from office VS Work from home - Which one is better?"  

Our evaluators DTM Noor and TM Adelia provide constructive feedback for both speakers. DTM Brahmakumar, our grammarian, shares his experience and gives us lots of great advice. He also shares a lot of tips on how to become powerful and impactful speakers.

At today's meeting, we have 21 attendees that are excited to welcome December. We listened to many inspiring stories from each other. All our members and guests also take part in the meeting. Bravo, everyone!! It was a fun, enjoyable, and memorable meeting.
